At Thank a Medic , we offer a unique platform for patients to thank the paramedics who have cared for them. Too often, after an emergency response, paramedics don't have the opportunity to know how their patients are doing or how their intervention was perceived. Our goal is to create a lasting human connection between paramedics and patients, to encourage post-intervention follow-up and allow these healthcare professionals to receive messages of appreciation.

Paramedics play a crucial role in public health. They intervene in life-or-death situations, often without knowing how their actions impact patients' recovery. When a paramedic responds to a situation, whether it's an emergency or a less urgent request, they leave a " Thank a Medic " card. This card has a unique # , allowing patients to easily find the profile of the paramedic who responded.
The patient then has the opportunity to leave a personalized message, expressing their gratitude and their feelings about the intervention. They can choose whether this message will be private , accessible only to the paramedic, or public , in order to share their experience with other people.
The process is completely secure and transparent . Messages left by patients include only their first and last name and are visible on the paramedic's profile. However, no confidential information, such as email addresses or other private details, is shared between the parties. Similarly, the paramedic can display their first name and company name, but no personal data such as email addresses or other sensitive information is made public.
